Music is the form of communication that every human being understands. Jazz in particular is a highly international genre and as a jazz musician you play with artists from almost all cultural regions of the world. In turn they add influences from their home countries. In practise musicians are diplomats and contribute to the understanding between people.
The history of European music is extremely rich, varied and ranges from classical to folk songs, chansons, musicals, film music to rock and pop. The Jörn Henrich European Jazzproject picks up on this wealth and transforms it intelligently, and with a bit of humour, into the style of Jazz.
La Musique est une forme de communication universelle. Le jazz en particulier est un langage international, en tant que musicien on peut jouer avec des artistes du monde entier apportant leur vision et les influences de leur pays d'origine. Dans leur pratique les musiciens sont des messagers de la diplomatie qui amènent une meilleure compréhension entre les peuples.
